Position Purpose Summary: 
Oversees, and performs administrative, accounting and inventory functions at a distribution facility. Duties may include: payroll, invoicing, stock receiving, shipping, petty cash, accounts payable / receivable. Works closely with facility personnel, sales, customers, vendors and other support personnel to ensure error-free order delivery, aggressive inventory and transaction control and superior customer service.  Assists with Branch Safety Initiatives
Responsibilities:

* Understands the company’s vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly.
* Oversees and leads administrative staff to ensure work is completed in a timely and accurate fashion. Supports sales efforts of branch sales team.
* Processes claims as applicable. 
* Reviews and manages the routes (drtrack). 
* Reviews daily stock receiving and invoicing reports. Oversees physical inventories and makes adjustments as needed to branch inventories. Assists with cycle count management.
* Handles all petty cash transactions including reconciling petty cash
Coordinates with warehouse supervisor on all inbound /outbound shipments, will calls and other customer service issues.
Qualifications:

Strong planning, organization, communication, problem solving and decision-making. Excellent telephone skills with the ability to identify key issues, evaluate facts and recommend appropriate action. Knowledge of the organization’s policies.  Knowledge of finance and accounting transactions in a warehousing environment / distribution center. Knowledge and experience in inventory control, material/stock handling/storage, and building products. Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task. Strong problem analysis/ resolution, organization, time management, communication and interpersonal skills. Process improvement and operating efficiency knowledge. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and other relevant tools / technology.
Years of experience: 2-5 years related experience preferred.

Position Purpose Summary: 
Supervise all warehouse operations which include training, inventory control, railroad, inbound delivery, piece pick, and loading.


Responsibilities:

§   Understands the company’s vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly.


§   Supervises the logistics activities of receiving, storage and shippingto ensure error free order fulfillment, optimized fleet/network management, aggressive inventory control, superior customer service and efficient facility utilization. Included in these activities are inventory control, warehousing, transportation, logistics planning, order processing and customer service. Resolves quality, service and cost issues.

§   Assists in driving the safety program for this VPP site. Drives the new Behavioral Based Safety program down to all of the asociates. Supervises relevant OSHA, federal, state, local and facility safety requirements.

§   Drives and leads continuous improvement of the delivery and material handling processes. Responsible for process improvement using data analysis and root cause methology. Assists team in improving inventory accuracy through tight process control and cycle counting. Also responsible for oversight of on-hand inventory levels along with damage and claims.

§   Trains branch associates on standard logistics processes and reviews performance metrics with direct reports.

§   Coordinates operational redesign projects to improve performance and meet customer needs. Generates and implements innovations for logistical competitive advantage that improve performance. Implements Lean concepts &amp; practices.

§   Monitors and assists in the maintenance of fixed assets (facility, forklifts and fleet). Works with outside maintenance vendors for completing both PM’s and repairs. Assists in developing site logistics budget with focus on continuously improving year over year performance against metrics.
Leads team;selects/hires;develops objectives; coaches and evaluates performance. Ensures direct reports obtain applicable training and development opportunitiesto enhance performance, development, and contributions to the company. Holds direct reports accountable for individual and team performance. Addresses performance issues appropriately and timely.
Qualifications:

Knowledge of Logistics functions. Knowledge of financial or cost analysis and measurements of logistics. Experience with industrial safety practices and procedures. DOT exposure a plus. Knowledge and experience in vendor pick ups, stock replenishment; communication skills; inventory control; material, stock handling, shipping and receiving; safety, products and governmental compliance. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant tools / technology to improve logistics performance. Project Management experience a plus. Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus.

Year of experience: 1-2 years logistics experience in a warehousing environment and 1 year of superviosory experience.

- Support material handlers in unloading inbound trucks and rail when directed

- Operate motorized equipment (lift truck, order picker, sweepers, and other equipment as assigned), shear, chain saws, and other powered or electric hand tools

Position Purpose Summary:

Serves as outside sales product specialist for Engineered Wood Products in theNew Englandmarket area. This role has extensive knowledge, typically technical, depth and experience within the Engineered Wood Products line. Works closely with outside and inside sales representatives to support their customer base.

Responsible for safely driving BlueLinx tractor trailer trucks to efficiently and accurate deliver products to customers. Responsible for safely operating all equipment related to driving, loading, unloading, and maintenance.

- Pick up and deliver freight
- Tarp/secure load as required
- Insure safe and timely loading/unloading of product

- Manage Proof of Delivery Paperwork from customers
- Communicate/interact with customers
- Other duties as required.
- Monday thru Friday work week

Qualifications:

-Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s license 
- 18 months of recent tractor trailer driving experience, preferably flatbeds
- Minimum 22 years of age
- Safe Driving Record: Including no DUIs in last 7 years; no more than one preventable accident 
or one violation of motor vehicle laws  within the year preceding application
- Physical ability to secure/tarp loads
- Good customer service skills
-Ability to read customer orders, safety regulations, on-board computer
- Criminal record is taken on case-by-case basis.
